SmartLPR® ACCESS is an automatic number plate recognition system designed to control the vehicle flow in accesses with barriers.

It is an All-in-One automatic number plate recognition system: a single device integrates the lighting, camera, processor, inputs and outputs and the power source. SmartLPR® ACCESS communicates by means of an Ethernet network or serial communication.

The new SmartLPR® ACCESS recognises correctly up to 98%(*) of vehicle license plates.

(*) Reliability obtained statistically with Spanish license plates, without distinctions of their state of preservation and taking into account different light and environmental conditions. Reliability may be greater or smaller with license plates of other countries.

Features

Recognition in movement The vehicles do not need to be completely stop for SmartLPR® ACCESS to recognise the license plate.	IR-Flash, economical lighting It provides the necessary light to read the license plate at night and it reinforces lighting during the day. It is based on a led panel, and it provides infrared light that ensures constant optimum lighting for the license plate.
Image of the vehicle The images used by SmartLPR® ACCESS to read the license plates are obtained with infrared light. However, the images obtained allow the vehicle to be recognised during the night and day.	Communications SmartLPR® ACCESS communicates by means of an Ethernet network or serial communication. It has four digital inputs and four digital outputs to connect and control various elements such as presence sensors, traffic lights, alarms, etc.

Parts of the system

The SmartLPR® ACCESS system is an All-in-One solution. Only one unit is necessary for each lane to be monitored.

Easy Start Up ^QF

Easy installation and startup. Simply connect the network cable, connect the power supply at 220 volts, identify the unit with its corresponding IP and adjust the optics.

High Reliability ^QF

Thanks to SmartLPR® ENGINE license plate recognition engine and the appropriate hardware, SmartLPR® ACCESS is capable of a recognition rate up to 98%(*).

The remaining 2%(*) of license plates not recognised correctly corresponds to license plates with unrecognised characters, which the system replaces with a question mark, thus minimising the confusion of charaters.

Light Adaptation ^QF

SmartLPR® ACCESS and the rest of the automatic number plate recognition products from Quercus Technologies, control the exposure time of the camera during the vehicle image capture process. This provides optimum license plate recognition capabilities at any time of the day or night.

Wide Angle Recognition ^QF

This feature, which is an innovation in the market, grants SmartLPR® ACCESS the capability of recognising the license plates of vehicles at an angle of up to 60º.

Multi-Country Recognition ^QF
